Simple Installation
The SignaLinc Plug-in Coupler-Repeater simply plugs into an existing clothes dryer outlet. Unlike previous solutions, which typically involve hiring an electrician to hardwire a signal bridge or jury-rigging a capacitor inside the breaker box, the SignaLinc Plug-in Coupler-Repeater can be installed just by plugging it in! It includes a feed-through outlet for your existing dryer to use so you won't block the outlet for your clothes dryer.

Why you Need SignaLinc Plug-in Coupler-Repeater
Because most homes have 2-phase 220V power that splits into two separate 110V legs, sometimes X10 signals have a hard time making the transition from one leg to the other. But simply plug a SignaLinc Plug-in Coupler-Repeater into your home's 220V electric dryer receptacles and it will detect and amplify X10 signals between the two power lines in your home.

Better than the original SignaLinc
Because this unit actively amplifies or re-generates the X10/PLC signals, your receivers will get a stronger signal than what they would have received directly from the originating transmitter via the non-amplified (passive) SignaLinc. Homes with large installation of PLC/X10 products will see an immediate improvement in response. No longer will you have a module stay on all night because the OFF signal was too weak to trigger the module.

Diagnostic Indicators
The SignaLinc Plug-in Coupler-Repeater includes four indicator LEDs on the front of the unit. These indicators show the status SignaLinc processing the powerline signal. The red and green pairs monitor each phase separately and illuminate when PLC signals are detected and re-transmitted.

The SignaLinc Plug-in Coupler-Repeater is available for 4-wire dryer outlets (#4826A) and 3-wire dryer outlet (#4826B). Once installed, it remains easily hidden behind the dryer.

The SignaLinc Plug-in Coupler-Repeater has been tested, investigated and found to comply with the requirements of the Standard(s) for Information Technology Equipment (UL-1950) and are identified with the ETL Listed Mark. The product with this mark on it has been certified by Intertek Testing Services (ITS). This certification mark indicates that the product has been tested to and has met the minimum requirements of a widely recognized (consensus) U.S. product safety standard, that the manufacturing site has been audited, and that the applicant has agreed to a program of periodic factory follow-up inspections to verify continued conformance.

Safety Tested and Factory Certification
All SignaLinc products are safety approved. The assembly line for Smarthome Design Products is ISO9002 certified. In order to meet the ISO 9002 standards, the entire factory underwent rigorous inspections of procedures and policies before being thoroughly audited. The certification received was based on its dedication to high quality management systems and strict adherence of quality systems and guidelines
