X10 was for twenty year leader markets in home automation products, a wide range of products and offer thought this site can be found. X10 work throught you existing power line wires using radio frecuency signal.
ZWave uses RF signals to send the communication messages between modules. The RF signals can travel at least 100 feet and each module also acts as an amplifier for the signal and rebroadcasts it out.
ZWave is also compatible with HomeSeer & HAL2000 (later this month) Automation Software (see software section of this web page). ZWave can also coexist with existing X10 hardware in a HomeSeer/HAL2000 environment.
